Jon Stuart is a seasoned drummer/percussionist who has performed extensively throughout Chicago and Los Angeles for the past thirty-five years. He studied at DePaul School of Music toward earning a Bachelor of Arts in Jazz Performance. During his time at DePaul, he was the principal percussionist for The North Shore Symphony and performed with The Chicago Jazz Ensemble under the legendary baton of Bill Russo. He is currently active as a live performer, session musician, teacher and clinician in Los Angeles. He continues to work on his new series of brush books and videos for the modern drummer entitled “ Musical Motions”. Soon to be coming out.
